Nompumelelo Maduna’s journey in pageantry began at the tender age of four, where she first discovered her love for the stage and the confidence that comes with performance. Throughout her formative years, she competed in various pageants, developing the poise, discipline and presence that would later shape her career in the modelling industry.
At the age of 15, Nompumelelo began her professional modelling career with Rage Models before signing with Boss Models, where she worked on a number of commercial campaigns and fashion projects. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with renowned brands including Kryolan, Stella Artois and DStv, while also walking runway shows and representing leading South African brands.
Her pageantry journey reached another milestone when she was crowned 1st Runner-Up at Miss South Africa 2024, cementing her reputation as one of the country’s most accomplished pageant competitors. Beyond the runway, Nompumelelo is an entrepreneur and founder of Impumelelo & Co. Promoters, a business focused on creating meaningful brand experiences and connecting people through impactful events.
Today, Nompumelelo combines over two decades of pageantry experience with professional modelling expertise to help aspiring models develop confidence, authenticity and stage presence. As a posing coach, she believes every individual has a unique story to tell through movement and expression. Her coaching focuses on helping models understand their body, master posing techniques, discover their best angles and build a personal brand that reflects who they truly are.
